Key Accounts Specialist
Job DescriptionPosition SummaryInteracts with internal and external customers and suppliers in support of key commercial accounts by resolving issues and tracking results. Develops and administers contract terms for special programs for large commercial and government customers, including supporting alternate billing such as collective billing, commercial budget billing, interruptible and other special contracts, and eService website consolidated bill view.Tasks and Responsibilities with delivery tariff provisions with emails, conference calls and meetings. Uses database software, such as Access to customize reports for special billing service contracts and for senior management. Interacts with external audiences, including purchasing and accounts payable officials, to interpret guidelines and procedures and/or to resolve daily problems associated with the unit’s programs, systems and services. Manages all processes relating to the administration of the interruptible service notifications, including review of customer contact and contract information, verification of interruptible readiness, and the use of the automated notification system. Manages the investigation of key commercial accounts billing and metering issues. Conducts investigation of key commercial accounts billing and metering issues, including interruptible account rates, other charges and consumption for monthly customer billings through SAP system and coordinates the process with Energy Acquisition, Revenue Management and Key Accounts. Administers the interruptible service notification process by reviewing customer contact information, verifying interruptible readiness and using the automated notification system to contact affected customers. Manages the investigation of key commercial accounts billing and metering issues.Qualifications, Skills and Abilities High School Diploma/GED 2+ Years accounting, billing, contracts administration or a related field experience required Proven ability to use computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office, to share, retrieve, research and present business information. Demonstrated ability to analyze/interpret data and to identify relevant issues to solve business problems. Demonstrated detail-orientation and quality control skills. Working knowledge of the jurisdictional tariffs general service provisions, billing systems (SAP ISU) and budget billing preferred. Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with business partners, supervisors and peers. Demonstrated ability to present ideas logically and concisely to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated working knowledge of SAP ISU and Itron MV 90.We offer a competitive salary range of $70,500 to $97,125 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills.
