Inventory Clerk

Description We are seeking an Inventory Clerk to join our team in Odessa, Texas. The primary focus of this role will be to manage inventory within our supply store and report directly to the company owner. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately input inventory data into the system Process purchase orders in a timely manner Order inventory as required to maintain optimal stock levels Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy Use QuickBooks software to manage inventory records and reports Collaborate with the company owner to optimize inventory management strategies Leverage skills in QuickBooks, Annual Inventory, Annual Physical Inventory, Asset Inventory, Inventory Accounting, Inventory Audits, Inventory Controls, Inventory cycles, Inventory Records, and Inventory Reports to perform duties Prioritize tasks effectively to meet business needs and deadlines. Requirements Proficient in QuickBooks software for managing inventory data Experience with Annual Inventory tasks, including preparation and execution Capable of conducting Annual Physical Inventory to ensure accuracy of records Familiar with Asset Inventory management and tracking Understanding of Inventory Accounting principles and procedures Experience with conducting Inventory Audits to maintain integrity of stock Knowledge of Inventory Controls and their implementation Ability to manage Inventory cycles, including restocking and reordering processes Capable of maintaining accurate Inventory Records and updating them as necessary Proficient in generating detailed Inventory Reports for management and stakeholders.
