You will have an opportunity to gain broad perspectives of Caterpillar, while interacting with diverse senior leaders regarding the financial planning and analysis of these organizations. This role will encourage you to demonstrate and develop your leadership skills, utilizing excellent communication, presentation and business partnership. In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop tools in a fast-paced and innovative global organization. This position will also be involved in reshaping the future of the Corporate Services organization by enhancing digital capabilities to provide deeper strategic business insights, connected to the Global Finance Services Organization Strategy.This exciting role is part of the Corporate FP&A and Services Group and is based in Peoria, IL. Do work that has a true business impact! Provide direct support to the Indirect Procurement and Global Facilities teams, building strong partnership and helping improve results. Reshape the future of Global Finance Services Organization by lead efforts aligned to our strategy.

Collaborate and Grow your Network! Lead and develop a high-performing team and interact with a variety of groups at Caterpillar, including finance, accounting, communications and business divisions.

Grow your leadership skill set! Prepare business plans, results analysis and have a seat at the table supporting Indirect Procurement and Global Facilities.

What You Have:

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. 8+ years in accounting/finance/business roles with increasing responsibility.

Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.

Finance and Accounting: Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Proven positive results in customer service and business partnering.

CPA, CMA or any accounting & finance related certification.

 Additional Info:

The location for this position is Peoria, IL

This role is a full time and currently requires 3 days a week in office

Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify

International and Domestic travel up to 10%
