Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com .The Independent Testing & Validation team is responsible for the development and design of methodologies and standards for review activities across the Enterprise in alignment with the Risk Management Framework and ensuring effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs, risks, and controls according to standards and other applicable policies.The Testing Director will be responsible for the successful Independent Testing, validation and reporting efforts that align to the Financial Crimes Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBBC) testing portfolio. Leads a team of testing professionals. Accountable for the creation and maintenance of an ongoing testing schedule, ensure timely completion of engagements with the appropriate delivery of results to all relevant stakeholders.In this role, you will:

Manage a team from cross-functional managers in accomplishing group strategic priorities.

Develop and design methodologies and standards for review activities across the Enterprise in alignment with the Risk Management Framework.

Ensure effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs, risks, and controls according to standards and other applicable policies.

Oversee development and design of methodologies and standards for companywide testing.

Ensure effective and appropriate staffing levels and testing inventory for risk programs, risks, and controls.

Lead Independent Testing team to evaluate effectiveness of controls and business processes to manage and mitigate risk and assess effectiveness of completed corrective actions.

Oversee programs or initiatives related to a line of business or an Enterprise strategy with considerable impact across the Enterprise and externally.

Take ownership of line of business or regional programs to ensure effective, efficient and accurate testing and validation.

Serve as primary interface and represent with corporate, business heads, Legal, Audit, regulators, industry partners, stakeholders, elected officials and trade groups on risk related topics.

Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Independent Testing.

Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in Independent Testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

4+ years of Management experience.

Desired Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, operational risk, audit, legal, IT systems security, business process management) or 8+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 8+ years must include direct experience in risk management and 4+ years of management experience.

Independent control testing, Audit, regulatory and risk management experience.

Knowledge of Financial Crimes laws, rules and regulations related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Bribery and Corruption, and Sanctions/Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC).

Extensive experience designing and executing enterprise testing and validation programs, including the development of consistent standards and testing methodologies for compliance and operational risk testing.

Expert-level knowledge of industry standards and best practices around monitoring, testing, assurance and risk management processes.

Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, coupled with an ability to translate ambiguous ideas/issues into well-defined plans/solutions with a track-record for delivering results.

Proven ability to cultivate relationships and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and constituencies, including business leaders, legal, audit and multiple U.S. and non-U.S. regulators.

Experience managing large, multi-layer teams.

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
