Tax Accountant

Title: Tax Accountant (per diem)

Duration: October – April

Location: Tarrytown, NY

Rate: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour, DOE

There is some flexibility with regard to hours. If unable to work traditional full time hours, we can structure part time hours.

Potential to become a permanent position.

Must either have CPA or EA, OR, commensurate experience preparing taxes as detailed below:

Prepare tax returns including: personal, corporate and partnerships (C corp, S corp and partnership)

Maintain client books, perform G/L work, create financial statements and handle/manage year end closings

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales tax reports

Prepare quarterly payroll tax reports

Handle/manage IRS and NYS correspondence and notices with regard to tax changes, etc.

2 to 3 years preparing tax returns in a public accounting firm
