Job overview:

We are seeking an experienced and talented Sous Chef with a passion for Mediterranean cuisine.

The ideal candidate will have strong background in food preparation, Menu planning, food cost management, with specific focus on catering and event planning.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee food preparation and cooking, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.

- Manage food costing and portioning to maintain profitability while delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Train and surprise kitchen staff, ensuring that they adhere to recipes and food preparation standards.

- Assist in inventory management, ordering and stock control to minimize waist and optimize ingredient freshness.

- Contribute to menu development, incorporating creative and innovative dishes that align with our culinary identity.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or a similar role in in high volume kitchen environment preferably with a focus on Mediterranean Cuisine.

- Strong understanding of food costing, portion control, and inventory management.

- Experience in catering and event planning.

- CULINARY DEGREE OR RELEVENT CERTIFICATION from a recognized culinary institutions is preferred.

- Passion for Mediterranean flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
