We are a dynamic residential general contracting firm seeking a reliable, self-starter to join our team as an Administrative/Design Assistant. In this crucial role, you will support the day-to-day operations of our busy residential construction office. Your responsibilities will encompass administrative tasks, bookkeeping, and light architectural design work, making you an essential part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

- Answer phones and schedule appointments efficiently.

- Drop off and pick up checks as needed.

- Deliver materials to job sites.

Bookkeeping:

- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.

- Process and track invoices, payments, and expenses.

- Maintain financial transaction records by establishing accounts and posting transactions.

- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

- Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data.

Design Tasks:

- Create and modify architectural plans using Chief Architect software.

- Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings.

Qualifications/Skills:

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; deadline-oriented with excellent time management.

Self-driven and able to work effectively within a team environment.

Data entry skills with the ability to type at least 35 wpm.

Basic knowledge of Chief Architect software.

Enrolled in or completed courses in architectural design preferred.

Fluency in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Education and Experience:

Proven experience (3+ years) in an office environment.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

Salary:

Salary will be determined based on qualifying experience.

Schedule:

On-site, Monday to Friday.

Must have reliable transportation.
