Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

We are looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to join our friendly Pediatric dental team in San Francisco. We practice state of the art dentistry in a fun and engaging office environment. We are seeking an RDA with excellent interpersonal skills and a great communicator who enjoys working with children and families. Previous experience as a dental assistant or RDA with children or in a pediatric office is a plus.

Position

Part time/Full time

Schedule: Tu W Th 8:30am - 5:30pm with the option to add Monday.

Responsibilities

Greet and prepare patients for treatment

Chairside assisting during dental procedures

Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures

Provide post-operative instructions and patient education

Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments

Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA

Maintain dental supply inventory

Perform other related job duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must have a current R.D.A license

Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology

Strong verbal skills

Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required such as Sealant certificate, Xray certificate, Coronal Polish Certificate

Computers knowledge

Experience with Dentrix and Dexis a plus

$26-38 per hour DOE
