Payroll Administrator
Description Samantha Younes with Robert Half is inviting applications for the role of a Payroll Administrator. This role is set in the industry of financial services in GRESHAM, Oregon. The successful applicant will be tasked with the responsibility of managing payroll functions, providing support to clients, and utilizing various accounting software systems. Responsibilities: Handle the calculation of payroll checks for client’s employees and payroll deposits efficiently Prepare quarterly reports and year-end reports related to payroll Provide assistance to clients for all their payroll needs and queries Utilize various computer and software skills such as Lacerte, QuickBooks, Creative Solutions Leverage Quickbooks desktop and Quickbooks online for various tasks Apply accounting experience and knowledge gained from working in a CPA firm, if any Ensure effective communication with co-workers for smooth operations Utilize any experience in tax preparation, if available, to assist in related tasks Process and maintain accurate customer credit records Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.Please contact Samantha Younes with Robert Half to review this position. Job Order: 03600-0013080886Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems. Experience with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now is preferred. Knowledge of Ceridian and Crystal Reports software. Familiarity with 401k - RRSP Administration. Experience with About Time software is a plus. In-depth understanding of Accounting Functions and Auditing. Experience with Benefit Functions. Proficiency in Lacerte Tax Software. Experience with Quickbooks Online. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferable. Familiarity with payroll regulations and requirements. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
