Reports To: Telematics Hardware Support Manager Position Summary: Foresight Intelligence is offering an exciting opportunity for the right candidate! As a Telematics Hardware Support Specialist, you’ll handle a variety of tasks that leverage your telematics expertise and technical skills. Your responsibilities will include inventory management, pre-sales hardware support, and troubleshooting assistance. This is an entry-level position, and we’re enthusiastic about providing training and growth opportunities for your professional development. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Inventory management

Shipping

Maintain a detailed inventory list and monthly inventory audits

Catalogue various cables and corresponding vehicles/machines

Handle RMA and warranty replacement

Can properly use and identify tools

Strong understanding of technology and desire to learn

Perform other duties as required / assigned

Minimum Requirements:

1+ year experience installing or supporting telematics products or related 12V automotive components is a plus

Strong general technical knowledge and analytical skills

Comfortable working within Microsoft Office Suite. (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to follow projects through to completion, adhering to tight timelines

Outstanding troubleshooting, technical and customer service skills

Proficiencies in using basic electronic test equipment (digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) is a plus

Experience with Cellular technology. (downloading apps, changing settings and understanding various forms of wireless communication) is a plus

Knowledge of 12V systems is a plus

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to learn new technologies quickly, step outside your own comfort zone and handle unfamiliar challenges enthusiastically

Strong communicator with excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience and ability to work well with in a team and inspire team action

Strong attention to detail with an orientation towards quality

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks (i.e. exceptional organizational and time management skills!)

Physical Requirements:

Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.

Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from worksite to another location such as customers office.

Lifting or moving packages (less than 75lbs)

Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
