Description We are offering a long-term contract opportunity for a Facilities Assistant in our Seattle office. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our business and requires a candidate with a strong understanding of facilities management within the industry. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including shipping and receiving, inventory tracking, office maintenance, and providing assistance for meetings, projects, and events.Responsibilities: Efficiently handle outgoing shipments and ensure timely deliveries. Accurately process and manage incoming shipments. Maintain organized inventory records and ensure adequate stock levels. Monitor and replenish kitchen supply levels, ensuring a tidy and functional workspace. Provide logistical support for various company initiatives, meetings, projects, and events as needed. Assist with the setup of computer hardware for new employees. Provide a warm and professional welcome to guests and visitors. Support facilities and HR teams with various tasks as needed. Requirements Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Experience in administrative office work and facilities coordination Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook Knowledge of 'About Time' software Familiarity with conference room setup and management Understanding of basic construction principles Excellent customer service skills Ability to handle shipping & receiving duties Strong skills in documentation and asset inventory management Experience in maintaining and managing office suites Ability to coordinate and manage tasks in a busy office environment Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively High attention to detail and accuracy Problem-solving skills and ability to think on feet in case of emergencies.
