Inventory & Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Inventory & Procurement Specialist to join our growing supply chain team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the company’s inventory and replenishment systems. This role is also responsible for purchasing the company’s administrative products. This is an individual contribution role with important cross functionalities across sales, logistics, and finance.

Job Responsibilities:

Inventory Analysis and Intracompany Replenishment (70%)

Monitor, analyze, and report on company inventory levels

Identify product usage trends and execute related stock planning activities

Plan and execute intracompany distribution replenishment activities

Identify process improvement opportunities in the areas of inventory management, intracompany replenishment, and middle-mile supply chain efficiency

Work cross functionally with sales and logistics teams to identify and solve operational bottlenecks

Support management with project related SME support

Procurement (30%)

Responsible for purchasing company marketing collateral and administrative goods

Utilize demand planning forecasts to generate supply plans and issue PO’s

Manage end-to-end PO lifecycle activities within assigned category – PO placement, pricing maintenance, on-time / in-full order execution

Candidate Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, data analysis, or business management; and/or 3-5 years of direct purchasing/inventory analysis experience in a CPG environment; and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience

At least 1 year of experience purchasing or managing perishable inventory

Prior demand planning / supply planning experience a must

Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills preferred

Ability to generate and analyze ERP and demand planning reports, identify usage trends, and respectively align intra-company replenishment activities

Experience working autonomously with supplier sales reps

Experience working cross functionally with internal sales, logistics, and finance teams

Fluent understanding of general CPG supply chain concepts and processes

ERP experience with Oracle, NetSuite, or SAP is a plus

Role Structure:

Mon - Fri, 40 hours per week, 80%+ onsite in-office

Non-exempt position, individual contributor role

Reports directly to department manager
