Shop Helper For Vehicle Accessories Installation Shop

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Shop Helper to assist our team. As a Shop Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our shop by assisting technicians, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and handling various tasks to ensure efficient workflow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the emergency vehicle accessories install industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist technicians with prepping vehicles for installation of equipment.

- Prepping equipment for installs.

- Disassemble & reassemble interior and exterior of vehicles.

- Help with minor repairs & installs, part replacements, and basic vehicle detailing.

- Perform general shop maintenance.

- Support the shop team with miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Hand tool and power tool knowledge.

- Basic understanding of automotive repair or willingness to learn.

- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Be able to maneuver under & in confined spaces of vehicles.

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

- Valid driver’s license & transportation.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Must pass criminal background check.

- Punctual, reliable, and eager to learn new skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience in an automotive repair shop or related environment.

- 12 volt knowledge

Full Time Position - 40 Hours a week

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm

$16 - $18 per hour
