What We’re Looking For:

- Team Leadership: Oversee and assist kitchen staff in all aspects of food production.

- Quality Control: Evaluate food products to ensure consistent quality standards.

- Maintenance: Establish and maintain a regular maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment.

- Training: Provide training and professional development opportunities for all kitchen staff.

- Passion for Food: Must LOVE FOOD and have a creative passion for culinary excellence.

- Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic kitchen setting.

- On-the-Fly Creativity: Ability to create and innovate under pressure.

- Experience: Previous fine dining and butchery experience is a plus.

- Team Success: Ability to lead a team towards success.

- Preparedness: Must possess and maintain sharp knives.

- Open Availability: Days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 2+ years of culinary or kitchen experience.

- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with an eye for detail.

- Competitive Pay: Offering a competitive salary based on experience.

Established in the summer of 2015, Chula Seafood opened its first restaurant in October 2016. We own our fishing vessel, Chula, in Point Loma, CA, allowing us to bring the highest quality fish to the desert at the fairest possible price.
