Business Systems Analyst
GENERAL DESCRIPTIONServes as the liaison between the IT Department and business stakeholders responsible for evaluating business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. This role will be required to collaborate cross functionally with other departments to gather and analyze data and recommend improvements to achieve business objectives.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Use various root cause analysis methods to deliver objective analysis for resolving system issues and identifying process gaps, inefficiencies, and areas of improvement.
Partner with business stakeholders to obtain an understanding of processes and requirement needs.
Coordinate meetings with cross functional departments to create current and future state process maps and KPI metrics from all impacted stakeholders.
Document and communicate business requirement changes, enhancements, and modifications — verbally and through written documentation
Create and maintain requirements traceability matrices
Create and maintain functional design documentation
Create, maintain, and perform Quality Assurance Testing
Utilize the SDLC methodology to deliver technical solutions.
Research, investigate and document transaction flow both inside and outside a system using various tools.
Collaborate with external third-party vendors, contractors, consultants to develop and enhance the system.
Regularly monitor processes and seek opportunities for continuous optimization of processes.
Stay abreast of industry best practices, new technologies and new releases impacting business processes

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field required
5+ Years Business Requirements gathering experience
3+ years Quality Assurance or System Testing experience
3+ Years Business Process mapping experience
3+ years of experience in supporting business functions in Microsoft D365
Proven experience in business process analysis and improvement
Finance or accounting background preferred
Record to Report (R2R) experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
