Responsibilities will include identifying gaps and efficiencies from a technical and functional perspective as well as defining appropriate solutions. The individual will work within the AURA department. AURA (Automated Underwriting and Risk Analysis) is RGA's e-underwriting platform and rules-based technologies that power dozens of RGA products and offered commercially to insurance carriers. AURA is the global leader in providing e-underwriting and management for approximately four million life, health and annuity applications per year. For well over a decade, AURA has enabled companies around the globe to realize the significant benefits of fast, flexible and reliable automated underwriting. As a leader of our Quality Assurance team, you will lead and define Automation Architecture and Automation path of delivery. The Lead QA Automation Engineer will provide hands on expertise to create and maintain long term automation solutions for the organization. The individual will partner with peers across the Agile team to oversee testing for product releases. Specific responsibilities include: lead implementation and management of automated testing processes for application, performance, load, user-interface, object, regression and data quality; work with various teams to create, enhance and maintain the Automation Frameworks across the products; build and maintain the strategic Automation Roadmap for the Product Portfolio; ensure that automation tool development demonstrates efficiency, maintainability, and reusability; mentor junior or less experienced members of the project team, enhancing their ability to contribute to project and departmental objectives; act as the expert on all automation efforts and ensure that the defined work remains within the constraints of time, budget, scope and quality; document and present to various audiences the purpose and efficiency gains of the automation frameworks and efforts; ensure on-going communication and positive working relationship with teams and leadership throughout the project life cycle; lead the training as required for the development and implementation of automation efforts; and facilitate communication between members of the project team, both technical and nontechnical, on issues and expectations. 40 hours / week.
