Technical SEO Specialist
The Technical SEO Specialist is responsible for developing and executing theorganization’s search engine optimization strategy for 5-7 websites and executinglocal SEO for some of our dealership locations. Additionally, this individual will bringtechnical SEO expertise to the entire organization and work on technical projects onan as-needed basis outside of the core domains that the person is assigned to workon.Reporting to the SEO Manager, this role will focus on driving organic traffic growth,improving search engine rankings, and optimizing on-page, off-page, and technicalSEO. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, with a strong understanding of SEObest practices, analytics, and the ability to collaborate across departments toenhance website performance and visibility.Key Responsibilities:
Work on all technical aspects of SEO, including site architecture, crawlability, accessibility, indexability, and site speed.
Work closely with your manager / web developers to ensure SEO requirements are met, including schema markup, sitemaps, and structured data.
Conduct regular SEO audits to identify and resolve technical issues that may impact organic performance.
Analyze and write schema markup for various content types across our websites.
Implement local SEO strategies to improve the online visibility of clients’ websites in local search results
Optimize Google My Business profiles to enhance local search rankings
Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and on-page optimization to identify growth opportunities.
Optimize website structure, content, and landing pages for search engines, ensuring best practices are followed.
Collaborate with the content and creative teams to optimize existing content and ensure new content is SEO-friendly.
Provide SEO guidelines and recommendations for content development, ensuring alignment with search intent and keyword targeting.
Continuously test and optimize content to improve organic search performance.
Use SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, and Google
Analytics to track performance and provide insights on SEO efforts.
Create and maintain SEO reports and dashboards to measure the effectiveness of SEO initiatives and provide actionable insights.
Use data-driven analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of driving organic traffic growth and improving search engine rankings.
Strong technical SEO skills, including experience with web development
(HTML, CSS, JavaScript), site architecture, site migrations, and performance optimization.
Experience with local SEO and local listing management.
Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics.
Expertise in schema markup and structured data.
Experience in keyword research, content optimization, and link-building strategies.
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
