JG Edelen is an established 101-year-old company that provides metal goods to the hospitality and furniture industries. We offer a warm and friendly work environment located in Essex MD.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Sales Operations: Work closely with the Sales / Owners to ensure the smooth execution of sales strategies. You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring our key accounts are well-serviced and operations are seamless.
Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service will be key to sustaining long-term partnerships.
Order Management & Customer Support: Process orders efficiently, respond promptly to customer inquiries, and provide solutions that elevate the customer experience.
Project Management: Collaborate on special projects, research, and key account initiatives to enhance the sales department's effectiveness.
Event Participation: Represent the company at trade shows and business events, playing a crucial role in expanding our network and visibility.
Team Collaboration: Act as a pivotal team player, offering backup support for the sales team and contributing to the overall success of the department.
Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). Experience with or willingness to learn AutoCAD is a plus.
Strong Communicator: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent phone etiquette. You'll be the voice of our company in many instances!
Multitasking Master: Able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Problem Solver: You bring innovative solutions to the table, helping us overcome challenges and keep things running smoothly.
Self-Starter & Team Player: Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience, internships included. We value practical skills and a proactive attitude!
Travel: Minimal travel required for trade shows and client meetings.
