Position SummaryThe PM Kitchen Lead is responsible for ensuring the plan for processing and packaging established with the Kitchen Manager and/or Supervisor. The PM Kitchen Lead will also be responsible for leading the use packaging equipment, training new PM team members, as well as leading the packagers and kitchen assistants in post-production stages of edible processing. This position will work closely with the Kitchen Manager and Supervisor, and Assistants to ensure workflow meets the company and state standards for compliance. Primary Responsibilities Lead Kitchen Assistants through duties assigned with Kitchen Manager and/or Supervisor according to packaging priority determined in daily meetings Delegate and Lead Assistants through packaging stages of edible processing (Packaging chocolate, fruit chews and cookies) Ensures all kitchen processes are accurately following SOPs Inventory of In-Department packaging supplies and materials. As well as flagging the Manager and/or Supervisor of low stock items. Stocking kitchen with packaging materials from storage, ensuring necessary materials are supplied and available for Assistants to use for the shift Ensures final counts for Infused Edible Packages are accurately counted and labelled Assist Kitchen Manager and Supervisor in writing SOPs Assist in the training new hires and creating an environment where people feel safe and comfortable Ensures the packaging waste checklist has been filled out accurately, daily Ensures cleaning checklists have been filled out accurately, daily Adhere to all local city and state guidelines and federal food handling/production regulations. Familiar with FIFIO (First in – First out) food product rotation and adhering to the rule. Monitor safety of staff and step in as needed MEASURES OF SUCCESS: Meet daily productivity, quality, and compliance requirements and company goals High attention to detail to increase productivity Patience, Flexibility, and Discipline for Routine Regular and on-time attendance REQUIREMENTS: At least 21 years of age High school diploma/GED Must be team player Willingness to learn new skills, expand job knowledge and adapt to a changing environment ABLE TO: Stand or sit for up to 8 hours and move from role to role Lift light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 50lbs) Perform repetitive upper extremity motions and repetitive forceful grip/pinch movement requiring both hands Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) - provided Use a computer and/or hand tools Move about a typical manufacturing and warehouse environment, including kneeling, bending, reaching, rotating, and stooping on an intermittent to regular basis Work in environment with particulates in the air, such as kief, sugar and pectin Work with potentially hazardous materials Work carefully and safely with and around hot surfaces and materials Be flexible and change assignments/roles based on company production and staffing needs determined by Human Resources and/or Operations BENEFITS: 50% discount on product Ability to earn store credit for purchases Health, Dental, Vision available Accident, Illness and Life insurance available EAP offering legal, financial and mental health counseling at no cost to you Free pizza on Wednesdays in Littleton!
