Positions available across the Portland Metro area, including Tigard, Wilsonville, Oregon City, and Gladstone.

About the Role:

As an Overnight Mental Health Aide, you will be instrumental in implementing and monitoring individualized treatment plans, providing therapeutic interventions, and offering support in areas such as self-care, hygiene, community resources, and life skills. You will have the unique opportunity to facilitate therapeutic groups, contribute to clinical case conferences, and assist in various daily operations that enhance our residents' quality of life.

Additional $3/hr for overnight shifts on top of base pay.

Your Role Will Include:

Providing individual and group skill training and therapeutic interventions.

Participating in meal preparation and household chores to maintain a healthy living environment.

Accompanying residents to community outings and medical appointments.

Collaborating on therapeutic treatment plans and ensuring smooth program operation.

Adhering to regulations and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant facility.

We Are Looking For:

A compassionate individual with a Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science field or equivalent professional experience. Entry level position for those without education or experience also available.

Someone with experience or a keen interest in working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness.

Excellent communication skills, a patient-centered care philosophy, and a commitment to promoting safety and inclusion.

The ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.

Qualifications:

Mental Health Aide I:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation: Base Pay $21.26/hr. to $21.90/hr. DOEShift differentials: $1.00/Swing Shift, $3.00/Night ShiftBilingual PayLead Pay: Additional $1.00/hourFloat: Additional $1.00/hourSecure facility differential: Additional $1.00/hr.

Mental Health Aide II:

Must meet the requirements and demonstrate the competencies to be credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA). Must have a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science field from an accredited college or university or three years of mental health work experience or a combination of work experience and education. Certification must be current and in compliance with MHACBO.

Compensation: Base Pay $24.09/hr. to $25.09/hr. DOEShift differentials: $1.00/hr. Swing Shift, $3.00/hr. Night ShiftBilingual PayLead Pay: Additional $1.00/hourFloat: Additional $1.00/hourSecure facility differential: Additional $1.00/hr.
