Position Summary
The Behavior Specialist provides clinically oriented behavior support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnosis. The Behavior Specialist will work closely with our clinical, programmatic, residential and day support staff to develop holistic behavioral treatment plans that consider thoughts, feelings and behaviors of our participants within an interpersonal and systematic context. This systemic approach requires participation on a multidisciplinary team and the training of staff, families and caretakers.
Essential Duties and Functions
Conducts FBAs on all consumers.
Develops and Maintains Behavior Support Plan.
Data collection and Analysis.
Training and Modeling for Staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Required, Master's Preferred.
Three years of related experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Products and Applications.
Subject to employment screenings, including FBI clearance, if applicable.
Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
Working conditions

Lifting Requirements
Light: exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The use of arm and/or leg control requires force greater than sedentary, but worker still sits majority of time.
