Part Time Front Of House at a Pizzeria

Psychic Pie in Sebastopol is looking for the right person to work 3 nights a week. The job responsibilities include cutting slices for guests, topping pizzas, making salads, operating the POS, firing slices, pulling soft serves, and making guests feel welcome and comfortable. Not all of these at once, haha, but we rotate through different positions to keep the routine fresh and fun. This is counter service, no wait staff, but a friendly disposition with customers and hard working attitude are essential to this role. We have a very small team and insist on treating each other with respect. We offer a starting wage of $17 per hour plus pooled tips. Staff meal is provided and discounts when you're not working are offered as well. We will work with the right person regardless of previous experience. With only 4 other employees, tips tend to come out to a minimum of $7/hr and have been known to reach up to $15/hr. You'll work side by side with the owners/chefs each shift. Right now we need someone for Saturday and Sunday closing shifts as well as one other closing night per week. The shift goes from 4:30pm until 9 or 9:30pm. In December we will have more hours available.

We are a small, family restaurant. We serve top shelf ingredients sourced from Sonoma County on top of sourdough pizza. This is not your average pizza slice shop. We respect our employees and provide an enjoyable work experience. We've only been open for 3 years but our employee retention has been great, with the average employee staying on for 1.5 years.
