Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Agent. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing reservations, handling payments, and performing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate must be available to work on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests and provide them with a warm and friendly welcome

Manage reservations and ensure that rooms are clean and ready for guests

Answer phones and respond to inquiries from guests

Process payments and keep accurate records of transactions

Assist with maintaining inventory and ordering supplies

Manage the front desk area and ensure that it is clean and organized

Perform various administrative tasks, such as filing, faxing, and copying

Follow established procedures for handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment

Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest satisfaction

Attend training sessions and meetings as required

Monitor and maintain guest satisfaction through reviews and feedback

Resolve guest complaints or issues in a professional and efficient manner

Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred, but not required

Knowledge of San Rafael and the surrounding areas is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Basic computer skills

Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Must be able to navigate stairs

Must be able to read a computer screen, printed/handwritten documents, driver licenses and passports.

Must be able to type on a keyboard, use a mouse, and write on paper

Schedule:

8 hour shift, 3pm-11pm Wednesday - Sunday

San Rafael, CA 94901: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

Hotel experience: 1 year (Preferred)
