Bookkeeper - Hybrid Remote
The Bookkeeper will handle all bookkeeping, payroll and HR functions for 3 small, family owned businesses. Will start by working in office full time but will eventually be able to work remotely one day a week once training is fully completed.
Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
$26.00-$28.00/hour + Benefits
Responsibilities Include:
Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting processing
Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts
Oversee the invoicing and collection processes
Monitor personnel timesheets to ensure proper billing
Assist with audits and monthly reporting
Prepare financial statements such as income statements, P&L, balance sheets and cash flow
Assist with human resource functions such as recruiting, on-boarding and benefits administration
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Prior experience in bookkeeping, accounting or payroll
Strong computer skills and proficient in Excel
