Hurricane work
First Sorry at this time we can't hire felons. You need to have a vehicle, not just a ride because occasionally we have to stay in our vehicle the first night or two.
Dependable, hard working people needed for hurricane and other seasonal storm work. Task include, catering, laundry, security, house keeping, maintenance, hauling, generator deployment, fueling, and retrieval. Aside from hauling most of our work long hours in sometimes challenging conditions.
The majority of our work is generated when weather creates power and cell line outages. Our clients are the utility companies. We travel to afflicted areas. We run the "man camps" where the electric lineman are parked, housed, guarded fed, and laundered. We also haul generators to cell phone towers, connect them, refuel them and retrieve them. All of our hauling requires a 3/4 tom truck in good order and most work will require the truck be 4WD. We offer good mileage rates for truck owners wanting to transport sleeper, office, laundry, kitchen trailers and other assets from our storage to the camps.
TOP PAY, $22/hr for good workers.Travel time and meals paid for deployment. Our work is challenging, but for a lot of us it is addictive. We enjoy the service to society, and the camaraderie of the friends we make. Most of our coworkers are great people. With the long hours and high pay rate our work provides us with a nice financial boost to catch up or get ahead. Work boots, hard hat, and reflective vest required.
