Permanent Engineer Opening in St. Louis, MO! The Associate Sales Engineer's primary purpose is to promote the company to be in the best position for winning profitable orders. The Associate Sales Engineer is the primary support for the Sales Engineer. Together they take responsibility for coordinating pre-order communications in the form of proposals and, information. Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Routine Decision Making / Problem Solving
- Develop proposals consistent with necessary scope; required sourcing; and clarifications and exceptions therefrom.
- Coordinate internal resources for customer support.
Essential Responsibilities Proposal management - internal and external 80% General Customer Communications 10% Developing Customer Relationships 10% Qualifications - Good understanding of engineering principles.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Required skills or abilities - Highly intelligent with good judgment.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and confident.
- Superior Communication skills.
- Organized and thorough thinking and work habits.
- Ability to work well with many types of personalities.
- Be able to remember and consider many different aspects of an issue or proposal and be able to juggle constantly changing priorities.
- Strong technical abilities.
Formal Education - Four-year college education, B.S. in Engineering preferred
