Seeking to fill open Project Architect position

Reid Smith Architects, Inc. has an opening for a Project Architect. We are seeking a driven and experienced individual to join our team. Reporting to a Principal Architect, this position will manage architectural projects (design, document control, client interaction, and construction administration) for high-end residential projects. This is an opportunity to work with a highly recognized, boutique architecture firm in the Mountain West region and further your architectural career development, experience, & education in a creative & collaborative in-office environment.

Jr. Project Architect / Project Architect

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from accredited school of architecture (Masters preferred).

Architectural Licensure preferred.

Minimum of 3 years in-office experience managing residential projects.

Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office/365

Duties include: design, drafting, managing support staff, client interaction.

Develop computer generated construction drawings & coordinating building systems with consultants.

Interact with contractors/perform construction administration responsibilities.

Must be highly organized, have excellent written & verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment working both within a team as well as independently.
