Neil Kelly is looking for a Carpenter II to join our team. This position is a learning opportunity for someone with good general residential carpentry skills, but not yet the fine finish carpentry skills and experience of a Journey-Level Carpenter.

Here are the key skills we're looking for:

Experience in residential carpentry, general home remodeling, and maintenance.

Attention to detail, quality work, and ability to work in a tidy manner.

Problem-solving skills and ability to plan ahead.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and teamwork.

Proficiency in various carpentry and home improvement tasks.

Compensation and benefits:

Residential Carpenter Union Wages

Union Benefits, Neil Kelly pays fringe benefits: Full healthcare coverage for you and your family, and pension contribution! This adds significant value to your total compensation package.

Tool reimbursement – earn up to $1.20/hour based on the tools you own. We pay 50% of the cost if you replace any of YOUR approved tools and/or need repairs.

Mileage reimbursement

Cellphone stipend of $55/month

Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability

Work/life balance. Work a regular work week and have weekends free!

All Neil Kelly carpenters in Oregon must be active members of the NW Carpenters Union or join upon hire. You must have a valid driver's license, tools and a truck or van.

Final candidates will be submitted for a background check, motor vehicle records check and drug screen.
