Description The Executive Assistant (EA) to the President plays a crucial role in supporting the President's daily activities and assisting with cooperative programs. This position involves handling confidential information, providing administrative and clerical support, and coordinating tasks for affiliated entities. The ideal candidate will have a background in the agriculture industry and be skilled in managing diverse and dynamic responsibilities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the President with daily activities, including scheduling, contact management, meeting preparation, and other tasks as requested.

Screen and manage all incoming calls and emails for the President, ensuring professional and courteous communication.

Organize the President’s activities, including meetings, conference calls, appointments, and other related interests.

Coordinate all-team activities, including staff meetings, strategic planning sessions, and retreats.

Manage travel arrangements for team members, including booking flights, car rentals, meals, and other travel needs.

Develop and maintain the annual budget.

Handle confidential information for various affiliated programs with discretion.

Accurately maintain the President’s contact lists and manage documents relevant to the office.

Lead or assist in special assignments and duties as directed by the President.

Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, Agricultural Communications, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.

Knowledge of farming/ranching and experience in the agriculture industry is strongly preferred.

Positive, amiable attitude with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while also contributing to collaborative team efforts.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to correspond professionally with the public, vendors, members, and legislative and organizational leaders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to maintain a flexible schedule.

Work Environment: The work environment is dynamic and may require occasional travel.
