CityLaughlin StateNV ShiftVaries Type of ShiftFull Time DepartmentFood & Beverage Assistant Food & Beverage Manage Edgewater (Laughlin, NV) Description:Summary:responsible for both the direct supervision of all FOH QSR, casual, fine dining team members and indirectly BOH team members. Responsible for day-to-day operations and ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the outlet assigned. Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to assisting the Food and Beverage Manager with training, discipline, maintaining quality and control, maintaining labor hours and evaluation of team members job performance. Contributes to a high energy environment increasing team member morale. Assists in other departments as needed such as Beverage and Banquets. Maintains high standards and expectations of the Company’s Guest Service culture.Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Assist in the hiring, training, evaluation, development, and disciplining of departmental employees.
Act as a liaison, as necessary, between line staff and departmental leadership to ensure leadership is aware of any challenges with job performance, staffing levels, and/or job tasks
Address any guest concerns by providing guest service recovery
Monitor team member compliance daily of all Department policies and procedures
Accurately report team member incidents to Food and Beverage Manager and team member injuries to Security immediately
Maintain par levels for all inventory, supplies, and equipment. Utilizes Company ordering systems to place outlet orders on a regular basis
Ensure that all inventory is properly stored and rotated. Completes monthly inventory requirements
Assists Food and Beverage Manager with interviewing, hiring, training, developing all team members and monitors for performance efficiencies.
Monitor and assist Host(ess) in greeting and escorting guests to their tables ensuring optimal guest service
Access all functions of the POS system in accordance with specifications. Cashier in outlets as needed to assist with short staffed needs and prioritize guest service expectations
Accurately void, refund, comp checks according to Department policies and procedures and accounting requirements
Properly implement, assist, and expedite manual procedures for system down POS issues and ensure accuracy from all staff cash drawers
For all food outlets, run system-closing reports and ensure that all servers' checks are closed before they sign out
Ensures that all food outlets and workstations are clean, organized and that equipment is cleaned, maintained and in proper function
Required to maintain the responsibility of all food outlet SNHD standards and regulations to include daily Department health inspections, charts and documentation
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, is they apply to the position
Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:Qualifications
Three years of experience as an Assistant F&B Manager/Supervisor, preferably in all aspects of various dining atmospheres
Computer basic mathematical calculations
Familiarity with food and beverage cost controls
Servsafe Preferred
High school diploma, some college preferred
Minimum 21 years of age
Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal
Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
Verify right to work in the United States
