We are excited with all that the future holds for our industry, planet, and communities.We currently seeking a Project Development Engineering Intern to support our Washington team in the audit, management, and compliance support of energy and infrastructure projects for commercial, utility, and institutional customers. Prior experience is not necessary but a passion for renewable energy is a must.Responsibilities:

Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for site access and building access for ongoing ESCO services.

Work with site Project Developer on ongoing contact, communication, and coordination with Ameresco customers and subcontractors in the design and development phases.

Evaluate technologies and equipment and recommend most suitable for each application.

Provide all necessary support, reports, and documentation required by Management for project, including technical and other support to sales, engineering and operating functions as needed.

Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Project Team to prepare and maintain all forms of project presentations, documentation, and related material.

Support project management to assure accurate record keeping for project to include, daily log, schedule updates, customer interface.

Work with Development and Construction team to support Clean Buildings Act and other regional compliance reporting.

Foster effective customer, subcontractor and vendor relationships at multiple levels and project phases.

Analyze proposals, prepare spreadsheets, and assist with review meetings; and

Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

W orking towards a bachelor’s degree in engineering; Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred. Concentration in Renewables is desirable.

Valid Driver’s License issued by state of residence and in good standing.

Ability to travel to project sites, mostly located in the region.

Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure or interest in l arge scale construction projects involving upgrades, renovations, and retrofits involving institutional, government, commercial and industrial customer sites.

Exposure or an interest in on on-site assessment, design, engineering, construction, and commissioning.

Proven ability to gather, validate, and analyze quantitative data and information.

Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel and Project.

Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills required.

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships.
