Software Systems Engineer (Plymouth, MN)As a Software Systems Engineer in our Plymouth, MN team, you'll shape system requirements for our Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) Clinical Imaging Software, translating user needs into impactful design and ensuring top-notch safety and usability.Your role:
Translate business needs, user requirements, and clinical scenarios into detailed software system requirements.
Decompose systems into specific software elements with clear traceability and allocate derived requirements down to the unit level.
Evaluate design specifications and interfaces, assess feasibility, and lead comprehensive technical design reviews.
Ensure full product safety risk management, satisfying all regulatory requirements.
Lead risk management activities such as FMEA, identifying design issues and guiding the team in developing effective mitigations.

You’ve acquired 6+ years of professional engineering experience with a focus on new product development.
Your skills include working with systems engineering tools like use scenarios, systems modeling and requirements management tools lie Jama, Polario, IBM DOORS, etc.
You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
You have worked in performing risk management and human factors engineering and have experience with regulatory standards (IEC 62304, 82304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971).

Philips Transparency DetailsThe pay range for this position in (Plymouth, MN) is $97,000 to $166,000The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
