Legal Receptionist - Personal Injury Law Firm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional and organized Legal Receptionist to manage front desk operations and provide support to our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and staff in a professional manner.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls to appropriate personnel.
Schedule and manage appointments and meetings for attorneys.
Maintain an organized reception area and ensure it is presentable.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including courier services.
Assist with filing, data entry, and maintaining client records.
Prepare and distribute legal documents as needed.
Provide administrative support to attorneys and staff as required.
Respond to client inquiries and provide information about services.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal ethics.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant certification preferred.
Previous experience in a legal or office environment is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is preferred.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position with standard office hours. Part time also available.
