We invest in contemporary and emerging technology each year to support the Federal Reserve and our economy, and we’re building a dynamic and diverse team for our future.The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide support to the organization’s Information Technology (IT) functions. In this position, you will work closely with IT business area leadership staff to help them continue to provide efficient and effective high-quality work.  Key Activities :Uses strong teamwork, strict confidentiality, and careful judgement to communicate and build relationships, while gaining an understanding of different Bank, System, and IT program functions. Areas of primary focus include, but are not limited to:

Schedule Management : proactivelyconsult and advise leadership on their short and long-term scheduling priorities and maintain and monitor emails for designated leadership staff.

Meeting/Event Support: c oordinate, schedule, and facilitate meetings/event planning (in-person and remote) details including, but not limited to, coordination with Conference Center team regarding room reservations and setups, catering, and audio-visual needs. Prepare meeting agendas and presentation materials in consultation with business leaders.

Communication: gather complete and relevant information, utilizing knowledge of processes and procedures, to respond to orrefer inquiries to appropriate contact.

Record/File Management: maintain/update various reference documents or policies, department record filings systems and/or leadership files (paper or electronic), while adhering to record retention guidelines.

Travel Coordination: arrange travel (i.e., airline reservations, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, and possible conference registration), prepare travel itinerary for traveler, and submit travel reimbursements in accordance with established policy/guidelines.

Perform various duties such as coordinating the purchaseof office supplies, assisting with the onboarding needs of new/transferring employees, providing back-up support to other administrative assistants on the team and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Typically requires at least one year of relevant experience; three or more years of experience is preferred.

High school education or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to work autonomously

Highly organized and detail oriented

Possesses a relationship building and learning mindset

Experience with broad range of Microsoft Office suite of applications including Teams and SharePoint

Previous Information Technology experience a plus

Additional Information : Location(s) :  Hybrid, KC office 50% of the time.Pay Range: The starting pay range for this position is $46,400 to $62,700 for the job level(s) required for this position.
