In this role, you will leverage data science techniques to analyze customer behavior, optimize marketing strategies, and support promotional efforts to achieve business goals.Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Modeling: Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets related to customer behavior, marketing campaigns, sales trends, and promotional activities. Develop predictive models and algorithms to identify insights and opportunities for optimizing marketing effectiveness and driving sales.
Digital Marketing Optimization: Work closely with marketing teams to analyze digital marketing campaigns across various channels including email, social media, search engine marketing (SEM), display advertising, and affiliate marketing. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve targeting, messaging, and ROI.
Audio and Video Marketing Analysis: Analyze the effectiveness of audio and video marketing campaigns, including podcasts, streaming services, and video advertising platforms. Identify trends, audience preferences, and engagement metrics to optimize content creation and distribution strategies.
Local Marketing Tactics: Support local marketing initiatives including geo-targeted advertising, local events, and community engagement efforts. Analyze local market dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to develop localized marketing strategies that drive foot traffic and sales to physical retail locations.
Website and App Behavior Analysis: Utilize web analytics and app analytics tools to analyze user behavior, engagement metrics, and conversion funnels on client websites and mobile applications. Identify opportunities for UX/UI optimization, feature enhancements, and personalized user experiences to drive customer acquisition and retention.
Customer and Promotion Analysis: Analyze customer segmentation, purchasing patterns, and lifetime value to inform targeted marketing strategies and promotional campaigns. Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs using data-driven approaches to maximize ROI and customer satisfaction.
Data Visualization and Reporting: Create visually compelling dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate key findings, insights, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders. Translate complex data analyses into actionable insights and strategic recommendations that drive business growth.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, product management, and IT to integrate data science insights into marketing strategies and initiatives. Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of data-driven recommendations.
Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest developments in data science, machine learning, marketing analytics, and digital marketing trends. Proactively seek out opportunities for innovation and experimentation to improve marketing performance and drive results for clients.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Master's or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
3+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or similar role, preferably in a marketing agency or digital marketing environment.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, as well as experience with data analysis and machine learning libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
Experience with SQL and database technologies for data extraction, transformation, and querying.
Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), app analytics platforms (e.g., Firebase, Mixpanel), and marketing automation platforms.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
