Bilingual Research Project Assistant
Position Description:Mathematica applies expertise at the intersection of data, methods, policy, and practice to improve well-being around the world. We collaborate closely with public-and private-sector partners to translate big questions into deep insights that improve programs, refine strategies, and enhance understanding using data science and analytics. Our work yields actionable information to guide decisions in wide-ranging policy areas, from health, education, early childhood, and family support to nutrition, employment, disability, and international development.We are currently looking for part-time bilingual Research Interviewers to work remotely for our Survey Operations Center in support of important national research projects.Job Responsibilities:
Conduct research interviews with study participants by telephone
Utilize a Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) system for all outreach
Follow standardized procedures and scripts verbatim to ensure study consistency
Enter survey responses into a database
Assist with other survey-related tasks as required
Position Requirements:
1-3 years of prior customer service, call center, research, or interviewing experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically with all people
Bilingual: English/Spanish required
Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong work ethic and a commitment to reliability and high-quality productivity
Ability to work a minimum of 16 hours per week; weekend and evening shifts
We offer an hourly pay rate of $19.00 with a potential for benefits and paid time off.This position is categorized as on-call, and as such, the hours may at times vary based on project needs.
