JOB DESCRIPTION
The Intermediate IT Helpdesk role will be responsible for assisting staff with technical issues, documentation of IT infrastructure and processes and various IT related tasks. The IT department takes pride in having in-depth knowledge of the in house IT environment and the successful candidate will too. Reporting to the IT manager, this position will resolve day to day issues and assist with the execution of various IT initiatives.
Technical customer service to employees is a major component of this position so this position requires a self-motivated individual who enjoys working with a wide variety of people on a daily basis. They must be good at providing remote support over the telephone and in person and be consistently positive, patient and professional with employees and co-workers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist staff with day to day IT issues.
Assist the IT department with the execution of IT initiatives.
Creation and maintenance of user accounts
Documentation of IT infrastructure and processes.
On demand evening and weekend availability is required.
Assembly, deployment, and maintenance of workstations and laptops.
Configuration, deployment, and maintenance of company supplied mobile devices.
Assembly, racking, and maintenance of servers.
Creating and configuring VM’s in a Hypervisor environment (currently VMW and HV).
Support of wireless infrastructure
Basic troubleshooting of network equipment (Primarily Cisco Switches and Routers).
Assembly and deployment of proprietary networkable equipment and appliances.
Installation and support of all desktop applications including the OS.
Configuration and support of Active Directory and Windows Server
Support of ERP environment.
Support of Growing systems.
Administration and configuration of cloud portals accounts such as VOIP, MS Azure and O365.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires at college/university diploma in a computer related discipline. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management and communication skills are required. Basic knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure is essential.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
