Superfine Playa offers an authentic California dining experience, serving up dishes crafted from fresh, locally sourced ingredients, including Chef Steve Samson’s renowned pizzas, house-made pastas, seafood, and meats. Our full-service bar features a curated selection of craft cocktails and wines, focusing on small-batch and family-owned producers. We’re open for weekend brunch, happy hour, and dinner, with lunch service launching soon.

We are currently hiring Full-Time and Part-Time pizza cooks! We are looking for energetic, friendly, and motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Position: Pizza Cook

Pay Range: $17.28 - $19.00/hour + tips

Pizza cooks will work alongside an award-winning chef and his partners to run a Superfine pizza shop. The cook will use a custom-built electric oven, rarely seen in the United States, to craft high-quality pizzas.

Responsibilities include:

Make and roll pizza dough daily.

Prep ingredients, including toppings, sauces, and salads.

Work the pizza oven and/or salad line during service.

Receive and store deliveries properly.

Collaborate with the chef on inventory and ordering.

Maintain an organized and clean kitchen and walk-in.

Qualifications:

At least 1 year of pizza experience.

At least 1 year of prep and/or line cook experience.

Able to stand for 8 hours and lift 50 lbs.

Must have a positive, energetic attitude.

Punctual, reliable, and responsible.

Food Handler’s Certificate within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours).
