DescriptionJob Title: Tube Cut-Off (TCO) Operator Salary Grade: 1FLSA: Non-Exempt Physical Grade: 2Job Status: Full-Time Travel Required: N/A Revision Date: October 9, 2024 Reports To: Production SupervisorPURPOSE OF POSITIONProduce defined quantity of parts and components according to company and customer specifications.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.More specifically, the person will:
Operate tube cut-off machine.
Cut tubing to proper dimensions and tolerances according to specifications.
Measure parts and components to verify accuracy according to specifications using various measuring instruments.
Ensure all parts and components are accurate according to specifications.
Use and understand various paperwork, including but not limited to schedules, prints, & tech standards.
Perform general housekeeping and maintenance on equipment.
Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments within the work area.
Regular, consistent attendance.

Strong commitment to quality and working safely.
Ability to read various measuring devices (e.g., measuring tape, caliper, micrometer, etc.).
Ability to work independently or as a team with minimal supervision.
Proficient use of math skills.
Ability to read and understand various paperwork (i.e., blueprints, manufacturing orders, schedules, etc.).
EDUCATION – EXPERIENCE – COMPUTER SKILLS
High school diploma or a general education degree (GED);
or one to three months related experience and/or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
TRAINING – CERTIFICATIONS – LICENSES
Continually participate in additional training related to the job.

ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY
The noise level in the work environment is usually LOUD.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather), outdoor weather conditions and extreme heat (non-weather).
The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
Steel-toe safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection required where posted. Additional PPE may be required when working in other areas.
