Job Description: We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to joining the Customer Experience Team within Platform Enablement. The Customer Experience Team helps teams with DevOps tools, site reliability and API management by ensuring each product team is aware and knowledgeable of the tools/practices the group offers. In this role, you will be responsible for uplifting and coaching various product teams and enabling the Ford ecosystem to take on modern DevOps practices as well as the tools the team offers. The majority of your time is spent coaching/uplifting product teams while the other portion is modifying/troubleshooting scripts. We need you to help bridge the gap and push teams to operational excellence. Requirements:

  • True SRE - Prometheus / Grafana / Azure - Log Analytics / Elastic Search / Logging Solutions for Teams
  • Dev Skills - Modify scripts / troubleshoot
  • API Management - need to be able to consume Webservices (Microservices / REST / IBM / APIC / Azure API Manager)
  • IaC would be nice to have, but not a must
  • CI/CD experience
  • OpenShift - nice to have
  • Logging and monitoring - ELK and Grafanna (another team uses Dynatrace)
