Description FINANCIAL ANALYST - Global Technology Company in Duluth, GAMy client, a global technology company in Duluth, GA, is looking to add a Financial Analyst to their team. This role is open due to growth within the organization and will play a pivotal part in driving informed decision-making by conducting detailed financial analysis and reporting. The Financial Analyst will work cross-functionally with various departments to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights that align with our strategic objectives.Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data related to operational performance and profitability

Prepare and present financial reports, variance analyses, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders

Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying discrepancies and suggesting corrective actions

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial plans

Evaluate investment opportunities and conduct cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making

Maintain financial databases and reporting tools to ensure data integrity and accuracy

Stay abreast of industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the business

Utilize skills in Budget Processes, Financial Analysis, Financial Planning, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A), Financial Modeling, Microsoft Excel, and Sage 100 to effectively perform duties.

Requirements

Possess a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or other business-related field of study.

Proficiency in financial analysis and planning, including the ability to create and execute budget processes.

Extensive knowledge of financial planning and analysis (FP& A) principles.

Demonstrable experience in financial modeling, with the ability to create and interpret complex financial models.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, and use advanced formulas.

Experience with Sage 100 or similar financial management software.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.

Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team.
