Description We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the Apparel Manufacturing industry based in Whisett, North Carolina. The role involves the comprehensive management of financial records and customer accounts, with an emphasis on maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all accounting tasks.Responsibilities: Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations. Carry out bank reconciliations, ensuring all financial data aligns and there are no discrepancies. Manage and maintain the company's general ledger. Prepare and submit journal entries and ensure that all entries are recorded in compliance with the business's financial policies and procedures. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data compilation, analysis, and financial reporting. Conduct month-end close procedures to ensure timely completion of accounting reports. Operate NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting functions. Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate action based on account status. Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently, maintaining precise customer credit records. Requirements Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Proven experience in the role of a Senior Accountant, preferably within the Apparel Manufacturing industry Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations Demonstrable knowledge of General Ledger and Journal Entries Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Experience in Month End Close procedures Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP accounting software Excellent analytical skills coupled with the ability to present financial data clearly Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of current accounting regulations and standards.
