Mechanical Engineer
Job Title: Mechanical EngineerThe Mechanical Engineer in this role will be responsible for completing the mechanical and Project Management portion of capital projects in support of the Plant Capital execution as well as Plant Technical support to enable the plant to meet its market, productivity, and/or quality goals.Job Description
Provide Mechanical Engineering design support and manage projects effectively.
Work with machine specifications, including sizing, selection, mechanical parts, assembly, schematic drawings, layout drawings, component specifications, and bill of materials.
Adhere to client mechanical design standards in all equipment designs.
Create budget estimates and prepare bid packages for assigned projects.
Facilitate the procurement of equipment and materials for assigned projects.
Conduct equipment acceptance inspections for incoming equipment.
Manage mechanical contractors or maintenance installation teams during equipment modifications and machine installations, ensuring smooth start-up and commissioning.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Experience with SolidWorks, Teamcenter, and project management.
Proven mechanical design skills with industrial equipment.
Minimum of 3 years in industrial mechanical design.
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
