The Lead Electro Mechanical Assembler is responsible for a specific work cell which includes assembly, wiring, and testing of products. This person will organizes and monitors the workflow within the work cell and ensures that labor and quality standards are met.

Ensures compliance with IS0 9001 Quality Management System.

Prepares and maintains all work cell related documentation and reporting.

Responsible for work cell inventory and related transactions.

Assists and coordinates the work of other employees as required.

Schedule, set up, coordinate and oversee work within the department

Review and facilitate the work tasks to be completed per the production planning schedule to meet the internal and/or external customers’ requirements

Sets up and operates various manufacturing related machines and test equipment (presses, crimpers, engravers, signal generators, power sources, etc.)

May assemble and/or wire complex equipment following drawings or models

Assists other assemblers as required. Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

What’s Needed?

Minimum of 3 years electro-mechanical assembly experience

Ability to read and follow schematics, drawings and other written work instructions

Must be PC literate and have excellent communications skills

Coordinates and maintains cross training as documented within product’s skills matrix.

Maintains clean and safe working conditions at all times
