Job Title: Warehouse WorkerJob DescriptionThe Warehouse Worker is responsible for completing assigned production duties to ensure customer, team member, and vendor satisfaction. The Warehouse Worker does this by accurately loading, unloading trucks, and picking orders, and completes these functions in the support of the distribution products.Hard Skills
Achieving assigned goals in the area of the warehouse, safety, quality, performance, and cost
Picking customer tickets in the correct sequence using warehouse management systems
Unloading product and verifying quantity, item, and load ID number
Scanning pallet labels and assigning/moving items to appropriate locations
Keeping product rotated by date and code for quality purposes
Identifying products by labels and date codes and staging for loading
Ensuring accurate record-keeping and document control practices
Complying with GMP’s, SOP’s, corporate and/or warehouse policies, rules, and regulations
Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
Soft Skills
Communicating with Warehouse Supervisor/Lead on potential or existing problems
Assisting and supporting all areas in the warehouse facility
Covering breaks and lunches and other staffing needs as assigned
Complying with safety regulations and reporting concerns
Reporting food safety problems and supporting SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality
Ensuring work areas are sanitary and adhering to sanitation practices
Effective communication between shifts and other departments
