You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects to meet our clients' needs and contribute to the growth and success of Black & Veatch.You will be assigned to a functional area in: Substation, Transmission, Distribution, Power System Studies, Renewables, Conventional Generation, Gas Fuels and Chemicals, Nuclear, Mining, Water/Wastewater, Telecom/Electric Vehicle Charging, or Data Centers.Internship Program Benefits

Responsibilities
Assist in the development of electrical engineering deliverables like reports, drawings, specifications, and studies.
Assist with the engineering analyses, designs, and report production.
Collaborate with other disciplines and schedule project deliverables.
Organize and evaluate data, utilizing computer modeling to analyze systems.
Organize project materials, references, and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant coursework or knowledge in Power Systems, Motors, Transformers, Renewable Energy, Power Delivery, or Three Phase Power Calculations.
Understanding of engineering design principles and design guides.
Problem-solving skills, effective written communication, and the ability to build relationships.
Minimum QualificationsNo experience required. Current enrollment in ABET accredited university in Electrical Engineering program. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.Work EnvironmentProfessionals located near a Black & Veatch office have the option of a hybrid work model that offers a balance between working together in person and the flexibility of remote work.
