We are hosting an open call hiring event on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 15th from 2:30pm-5:00pm at Blenoir (958 Lexington Ave at 70th Street, New York, NY).Stop by during this window to fill out an application and interview with a manager. Only candidates who have full-time open availability to work varied shifts during the week & weekends should apply. PrimaryDuties and ResponsibilitiesInclude: Greet customers, provide menu guidance, and ensure a pleasant customer experience. Operate the cash register, handle transactions, and process refunds when applicable. Prepare and cook crêpes and beverages quickly, following recipes and portion guidelines. Prepare food for service (e.g. slicing vegetables, preparing sauces, etc) Maintain a clean and organized workspace, meeting all health and sanitation standards. Restock supplies and set up stations at the beginning and end of each shift. Cross-sell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Address and resolve customer complaints, involving management as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely, high-quality service. Candidates can expect: Competitivehourly pay, ranging from $16.00-17.75/hour, plus tips, depending on experience Career growth opportunities with a growing company Paid sick time A dedicated team of operators to support the venue andteam Position Requirements: Ability to lift 30+ pounds and work in varying temperature conditions. Available for nights, weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule. Strong communication, time management, attention to detail, and basic PC skills. Capable of performing under pressure while maintaining professionalism. 1-2 years of customer service experience, with food service experience preferred. High school diploma or GED required; food handler's certification is a plus. The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching,frequentlylifting upto 25 pounds, occasionallylifting upto 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
