Specialty site-concealment manufacturing company is seeking entry level and experienced craftsmen to build and fabricate custom structures. Work will be done primarily in the shop and for the right candidate plenty of field time and overtime potential. Prior experience in structural steel, framing, or woodworking is a plus, will train the right individuals. Lots of potential for growth within and with the company as we are busier than ever and growing at a fast rate.
Prior experience a plus in any of the following:
Fiberglass/Mold Making
Structural Framing
Painting
Machining
Fabrication
Stucco/Plaster
JOB SUMMARY:
A qualified candidate will provide the necessary skills and attitude to build quality finished structures on schedule, following all safety policy guidelines and instructions, and within the designated customer and company specifications. Scope of work varies from cutting material, framing, finishing work, and concealment painting. We work primarily with FRP and fiberglass composite structures. Field work includes rigging, crane signaling, framing, and painting. Field work includes drive time, and overtime. No single project is the same, however many skills carry over from one project to the next. The right candidate with the right attitude will be trained for these positions with the potential to grow into supervisory fields as well as other areas.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to perform all aspects of quality construction and fabrication of structures with varied designs
Will work with various building materials, structural adhesives, coatings, resin, and fiberglass resin composites
Must show an attention to detail
Must follow safety and quality standards at all times and verify quality in accordance with standard process control and quality procedures.
Must be reliable with a solid work ethic
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 years in related fields is a major plus
Previous FRP experience is a major plus
Experienced with the use of basic tools and power tools
Minimum 60lbs lifting ability
Ability to perform the physically demanding aspects of the job including lifting 60 lbs, working at a fast past, standing and/or walking most of a shift, climbing ladders, working from the ground, bending at the waist, and working in outdoor and indoor environments
Ability to read and understand shop and construction drawings
Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions while working independently
Installation experience working with crane operators and rigging knowledge a plus
Ability to work overtime (planned and unplanned, weeks and occasional weekends)
Ability to fluently speak, read, and understand English.
Drug Test and E-Verify prior to employment
M-F 6AM - 2:30PM standard hours
Pay is entry level $20.00 - $22.00 DOE, pay is weekly
