Head Chef
We are looking for a Head Chef to inspire and lead our team in the daily management of all culinary operations. In this role, you will need to work hand in hand with the Restaurant Service Manager, successfully leveraging the skills of our kitchen staff, and utilizing a full range of culinary and operational knowledge, in order to deliver an unparalleled dining experience to our guests.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and improve all aspects of our culinary operations, including menu planning and development/creation of new dishes
Hire, mentor and evaluate kitchen staff
Train kitchen staff:
Proper food preparation and service
Correct usage and operation of kitchen equipment
Food safety and sanitation standards
Manage kitchen administration:
Vendor management
Inventory control
Budgeting, and cost management
Create and oversee schedule for maintenance of kitchen and back of house equipment

Requirements:
2+ years work experience as a Kitchen Manager, or Head Chef
In-depth knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
Experience with authentic southeast Asian dishes and flavor profiles
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong skills in budgeting and allocation of labor and food costs
Level headed, with strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment
Flexibility to alter work schedule as needed for proper management of operations
