Finance Intern
DescriptionResponsibilities: Supports the Accounting and Finance team by performing assigned duties which are not limited to the following:
Assist in creating regular and ad-hoc financial reports using Excel or OneStream
Contribute to the development of dashboards to visualize financial performance.
Assist in gathering and organizing financial data from various sources.
Conducting financial analysis and research.
Help prepare financial models and forecasts as needed.
Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets.
Review internal and analyze internal controls around financial reporting
Work with team members to understand business requirements and assist with various projects.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
Gain exposure to financial concepts and data analysis techniques.
Receive mentorship and training from experienced professionals in the field.
Qualifications:
Must be actively working towards a Finance, Accounting or Data Analytics bachelor’s degree
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principals in the United States
Effective communication skills which include verbal and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word; familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.
High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility
GPA of 3.0 or higher
